Kanela is, without a doubt, a jewel for traditional Greek food. As it's close to the metro station and, since it's well known among the local people it's always full, so a reservation should be done before going there.
The waiters are always friendly and, believe me, the food is amazing. Really, I've got the impression that a Greek grandma is cooking for me every time I'm there. From cold mezedes to slow roasted lamb. everything is fresh and tasty. I love this place so much that I always take there every single friend that comes to visit me!
Two of the walls in the restaurant are windows that allow the natural light to enter the place during the whole afternoon. Even with all that light and with the decoration being quite simple, it's a very cozy venue.
Most of the time, as a simple way to thank you for being there, they offer you the dessert for free. Don't miss it!
