"Geneva's food trucks exist in 10 different (rotating) locations and each one offers different types of food from around the worl!"

Nowadays, street food culture is extremely popular and trendy. The concept of having high-quality food on the go, outdoors, at more reasonable prices than at the restaurants, is very attractive and Geneva could surely not miss out - in fact, 10 food trucks liven up its food scene every day!

Each food truck offers different types of food to please every appetite: from Mexican to Italian, from Asian to South American, every dish made using local and genuine products.

The food trucks are open at lunchtime, from 11:00 to 14:30, to fulfill the high demand of Geneva’s citizens and tourists who are looking for some quick but tasty food to enjoy during their lunch breaks. The food trucks work on a daily rotation, covering all the busiest areas of Geneva.

The food truck system started in Geneva in 2014, with only 6 food trucks at the beginning. This grew to 10 in 2016, each one with a guaranteed “spot” for a period of 4 years.

I have personally tried out many of them and am still struggling to decide which one is my favourite, as they are all so mouth-watering and impossible to resist!!

Here, below, a list of all the locations you can find the food trucks at:

Place Simon-Goulart
Bel-Air
Chaumettes
Place René-Payot
Hollande
Pré-l'Evêque
Bd Carl-Vogt
Amandolier
