If at one point in your exploration of Glasgow's bustling city life you feel a need to step back, why not take a couple of hours to practice guided yoga? Or try a session if you are new to it?
Down in the Partick area, close to Byres Road, lies Yoga Healing Glasgow, a small studio with a totally relaxing vibe. Here, everybody is welcome for drop-in sessions, with a choice of classes ranging from Hatha yoga to more dynamic Vinyasa flow but also Yin.
Not only are the classes suitable for people of all levels and experience, but the founder, Anthea, is the kindest teacher, with a deep knowledge of her subject and effortless guidance to her students. I started attending her classes three years ago and I have valued every minute I have spent there since, always leaving the studio with a renewed energy!
If you are interested, you can check their online weekly timetable (they have live stream classes) to find the best class for you. Or else contact Anthea via her website. You will not be disappointed!
