The Kyiv Chestnut is a bronze symbol of Kyiv located on Kreshchatyk street, which was developed in 2018 within the project “Search!” (“Shukay!”). Kyiv is known as a chestnut city because of the chestnut trees which decorate the streets of the capital of Ukraine. If you come to Kyiv in spring, you’ll be amazed by the blooming chestnut trees all over the city! But during any season you can also find the bronze Kyiv Chestnut as the city symbol and imagine that blooming beauty. It’s nice to discover such hidden treasures while walking around and to find this figure is really easy, because while visiting the city you’ll definitely go to Kreshchatyk street!
All Kyiv guests will be amazed by finding Kyiv Chestnut! It’s really fun to also look for other Kyiv symbols and to go on some kind of hunt. It’s a good opportunity to discover Kyiv and to learn more about its history and life.
