Angus T is my go to croissant place because of their variety of interesting flavours.
This includes a few Asian flavours like black sesame croissants and red bean or date and fruit cinnamon buns. Other tasty flavours are hazelnut, pistachio, and earl grey. For those who aren’t fans of sugar, there are ample savoury options to choose from too, such as spinach and feta or balsamic onion and bacon pastries. I recommend coming early to grab the flavours you want, as the most popular ones tend to disappear quickly. Although they are pricier than a standard croissant, they are always fresh and taste great, making it worth that little extra. Prices for pastries range from $5-7.50.
My favourite part about Angus T is when you grab a seat near the back of the shop you can watch the croissant magic happen. A glass window to their kitchen lets you see how your delicious treat comes to life.
My personal recommendations are the black sesame and earl grey croissants as they are pretty unique and not flavours you will find everywhere but everything there is guaranteed to make your taste buds happy. So if you find yourself in the Yaletown area of Vancouver, make sure to stop by.
