If you’re looking for a fast and delicious meal, Sun Sushi is your go-to. It’s a local favourite for its incredibly quick service and cheap prices. Don’t expect to be waited on hand and foot, but if you’re on a budget and on the go, I can’t think of a better place to go for an easy and very yummy dinner.
The service is unbelievably fast: on many occasions, I’ve waited for less than five minutes to be served my first roll. My favourite things to order are their agedashi tofu, spicy salmon roll, or vegetable udon. They also have some special rolls and big bento boxes if you’re feeling more adventurous.
You’ll find that a lot of university students go for dinner at Sun Sushi on a Friday night because of the low cost, so it’s a great place if you’re traveling on a dime. Don’t discount this small sushi gem: it doesn’t look fancy from the outside but the food is fast, good, and cheap for anyone on the road or looking for a quick pit stop.
