When this adorable shop opened, I was happy and surprised that the owner chose this location. Usually, these kinds of shops are in the “popular” districts. But, as it turns out, everybody loves it. It has a steady clientele, friendly staff, and an amazing choice of fresh products.
The idea is simple – sell products from local farmers and follow the no plastic and zero-waste principle. Everyone comes with their own bags and refill cups, glasses, and containers. But if you don't have one with you, they have a box with clean ones, which you can return the next time. Apart from fruits and vegetables, there are different types of grains, nuts, seeds, and flour in big containers. They also have delicious fresh dairy and non-dairy products, fresh bread and cakes, chocolate, tea, etc. And they have a section with ecological cleaning and hygiene products, which I love.
But that's not all. In the warmer months, they have the cutest little wooden terrace in front of the shop, and they offer quality coffee, breakfast, and lunch. They only have a couple of options, but on the weekdays, they always prepare something special for lunch. All the food is vegetarian, some even vegan.
It is located right next to the Augarten, so I usually take my dog for a morning walk and then, on our way back, I stop here, have some coffee, maybe breakfast, buy whatever I need and go home. A great start to the day.
