The great thing about the food at the Viennese restaurant Vero is that everything is organic. I love that and the effort they put in - be it service, decor, etc. Please be aware quality comes at a price.
My confession: I am a long-time fan of this place, yet somehow, I never thought about writing an article. Shame on me - but hey, better late than never! It has taken Vienna a while to appreciate this restaurant, but I love seeing it becoming ever more popular.
You can have your pizza vegan, with the fluffiest cashew cheese you could dream of. I mean, check out the photo! It not only tastes but also looks a bit like clouds. Don't you think? Furthermore, you can choose between a dough made of spelt or buckwheat (gluten-free). For all the sweet tooths, they have vegan desserts (brownie or chocolate pizza with fruits) and plant-based Mango Lassi, buttermilk, or beet/curcuma Latte. There are options for carnivores as well. And the team is always ready to take orders that are not exactly as listed on the menu. I have so much love for this place and hope you will, too!
The second branch in the 18th district is a smaller space. That one's right next to Pötzleinsdorfer Park, where you could go for a walk (no dogs allowed!) after your Italian meal.
