42 Barstronomy Athens – Not a drink; an experience
The answer to the ultimate question of life is, according to Douglas Adams´ “The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy”, 42. By saying that you can imagine how cool this bar is.
During the day, they serve coffees and even foods, but to me this is the perfect spot to go for a cocktail. Sure you can get any drink you want, but I think it's a pity to have such great mixologists around you and not take advantage of it! Seeing them working is hypnotic. While there, I can barely take my eyes off of them and how they mix seasonal ingredients with different kinds of ice and alcohol. Because of that, I always try to sit at the bar, and I highly recommend it so you can watch the bartender behaving like an alchemist, preparing any of the original cocktails they make. Some of them should be “drunk” using a fork and knife!
Believe me: few things are more appropriate to finish a busy day than a great negroni and some good jazz music.
