One of the most typical tapas here in Barcelona is Patatas bravas. Even though the recipe is pretty simple, fried potatoes with spicy sauce, you will not find two places in Barcelona that make the same bravas.
I wanted to write about this place because it is considered a classic -- many people believe it has the best patatas bravas in the city. It is located in the Sarriá neighbourhood which is not exactly central, so you can use it also as an excuse to visit this part of the city. The bar is nothing fancy, but it is always full. Don't let that stop you from trying though, in the same corner there is another entrance that belongs to the same bar and it tends to be less crowded. Also, don't stop only at bravas, there is plenty of other things to try from the menu. To make things better, the prices are really reasonable too.
So it's up to you to decide: are these the best bravas or not?
