I was a little hesitant to write about this place, because I really do consider it one of my favorite bars; it was like giving away a little secret. I used to work in a hostel close to it and I would only recommend it to guests I really really liked. It is very close to the city center, but located on a small corner which makes is sometimes hard to spot, so most people there are locals who already know about it.
It would be hard to explain what makes this place special. It's a combination of the cute decor with the small tables and chairs, the good music playing in the background, the nice staff and the great food and drink options. They also have artwork hanging on the walls that you can actually buy.
My favorite thing to drink here is vermouth. It's very good and it costs only 2€. If you sit outside it is slightly more expensive but totally worth it anyway. Another thing I recommend is that you try the patatas bravas. They really do justice to them. The rest of the menu is just as good, but it's up to you to find out.
PS: If you are a soccer fan, this is a good place for you too. They have a big screen where they stream the most important matches.

Here, classic bar snacks like croquettes, bravas, and potato salad coexist harmoniously with more substantial, stew-based dishes.
