Mama Dori is a cosy Italian restaurant that is famous for its Sicilian toasts and their lovely huge dog that is always chilling on the terrace, waiting for someone to give him some leftovers. The owners are also just great. Always with a smile and ready for some chat.
Even though inside it is very nice, during warm spring and summer nights the terrace is a perfect spot to chill, as it is next to a garden and it makes you feel like you are outside of the city.
All the sandwiches are just amazing, but I would say that the brie and honey or the one with salami, mushrooms and mustard (called Papa Adriano) are among my favourites!
Besides toasts, you can also find delicious Italian dishes like the homemade lasagne, different types of pasta (every day they have different deals) and some snacks such as cheese and salads.
Every time I go to Mama Dori I always like to have the full Italian experience so I also have an Italian beer or Aperol to drink.
