As far as I know, Noix et Moi (literally ‘Nuts and I’) is a unique concept in the centre of Brussels. This small shop, nestled on the ground floor of an old red-brick building on Rue de Rollebeek, is a veritable heaven for lovers of nuts, pulses, cereals and dried fruit. They have excellent products, most of them brought over from Greece and displayed in sacks and other containers from which you can scoop out the desired quantities with spatulas.
Noix et Moi, however, does not limit itself to nuts. It has excellent tahini, Greek halva, sesame and honey bars and even cones of mixed fruit and nuts you can purchase on the go to nibble on the street! My favourite goodies are the dried strawberries infused with concentrated apple juice. They are sugar-free and make for a delicious healthy dessert. They are a permanent fixture in my breakfast!
