I have a special connection with the "Cafecafe", because it was the first café I worked at after high school, which was about ten years ago. Here I realized how much I enjoy to work with people and food. There has always been a wide range of different snacks and dishes for breakfast or lunch, such as bagels, focaccia, ciabatta and salads, all freshly prepared. In addition, they serve fresh French croissants with or without chocolate every morning and the almost legendary cafecafe breakfast which always includes a tray with a variety of sweet spreads and jams.
Other than at the headquarter, this second branch in Ehrenfeld, which opened in April 2012, also offers egg dishes such as scrambled or fried eggs that round off the breakfast. Unlike the branch in the Aachener Straße the "Cafecafe Ehrenfeld" offers a huge selection of cakes, in particular vegan cake.
For drinks I love their wide range of all homemade and natural smoothies (try #4), which you can customize by adding additional flavors to them, but isn't really necessary.

Köski in Cologne is a real gem. Charlotte has taken this Büdchen, or kiosk, and made it into something else. I want to buy something every time I visit.
