Tapa is a lovely, quaint little coffee and bake house. Everything is organic and all of the food is either vegan or vegetarian, and surprisingly tasty. It is so nice to sit and relax: just taking in the smells over a morning coffee and pastry. I am particularly fond of the matcha green tea latte, as it's hard to find anywhere else. There is free Wi-Fi if you need to do a bit of work or if you plan on skyping someone. The staff are so friendly, they really brighten your day!
There are two in Glasgow, one in the East End and the other in the South side. The company has recently been tipped as having the best coffee in the city! Tapa is great for a pit-stop if you are wandering around one of these areas or just a lovely way to start your day (especially if you are an early riser). It is an absolute favourite with the locals and if the sun is out – it happens – you can sit outside and people watch until your heart's content. You can also grab one of the delicious, freshly made loaves of bread and take a little bit of tapa home with you. I'd recommend the pumpkin loaf; it's so hearty and it tastes amazing.
"West Brewery" is my beer heaven in Glasgow. The main attraction is the wonderful beer garden. You can sit on the grass if you don't mind getting green.
