Tibo is always referred to as ‘a hidden gem’ in Dennistoun, and that’s exactly what it is. This little bistro is 10 minutes from the city centre and is absolutely worth going a little out of your way for.

Tibo offers great Scottish food (with a twist) and also has delicious options for vegetarians and vegans. The service is very friendly and attentive, without being overbearing.

No matter what you are in the mood for, you are made to feel very comfortable and the atmosphere is very relaxing. There is also an exhibition of artwork on the wall which changes seasonally and it’s great to see the different talent from local artists.

As Glasgow is known for its predictably wet weather, you can also call down and order a takeaway for collection if you fancy a cosy night in!

The Black and Blue burger was voted one of the best in Glasgow (it’s exceptional) and you can’t go wrong with a bloody Mary in hand. Tibo also has a takeaway right across the street for sandwiches with great pour-over coffee. You can’t leave Glasgow without trying it.
