Zique's has earned quite a (deserved) reputation for itself. It is a rustic little place hidden in the depths of the West End and those who know about Zique's, LOVE IT. The breakfast menu is full of mouth-watering choices and for those of us who like to sleep in, they serve it until 17:00 everyday.
I thought I would try a healthier option so I decided to go for the florentine with some much-needed caffeine on the side! It was lovely, the service was perfect and my friend really enjoyed the cullen skink. There was so much to choose from and I will definitely be going back!
What is especially great, is that you can also enjoy a drink in Zique's and you won't feel out of place. With bloody mary's, beers and wines aplenty, you will be left wanting for nothing in this little gem.
"Starry Starry Night" Glasgow is one of those cluttered little treasure troves of a shop. It has clothes & costumes from every decade you can think of.

"Forth and Clyde Canal" is a safe place to cycle in and around Glasgow, head for the towpath of the Forth and Clyde Canal, I'd say. You can rent out bikes.

"Tibo", a little hidden gem of a bistro in Glasgow, is absolutely worth going a little out of your way for. It has great Scottish food with a twist...

The "Tea Rooms at The Botanics" Glasgow have a great terrace to sit outside. Anyone for tea, scones and cake? Yes please, how frightfully civilized!

"The Amsterdam" has created a unique style of dive bar that Glasgow desperately needed. Of course it's a whole different place on Friday & Saturday nights

"The Sub Crawl" in Glasgow is a pub crawl but with one pub stop for each subway stop. That makes 15. Consider this a warning as well as a recommendation.

"Alexandra Park" is one of the most beautiful parks in Glasgow, but often forgotten. Come prepared with sunglasses & umbrella - this is Glasgow!

"Cafe Strange Brew" is not to be passed if you find yourself on this side of Glasgow. Their increasingly popular matcha lattes make me come back for more.

"Shelter Scotland" Glasgow is a charity shop that I love. It may not have the cool, retro reputation that vintage shops have but they can offer more...

"Queen's Park" in Glasgow is a must-visit, especially on a clear day! If you're visiting in winter, don't forget to bring your sledge/skis/snowboard!

"Vino Valentino" is a tiny wine bar tucked away off Byres Road in Glasgow. It's my perfect place for my partner or a group of friends as a pub alternative.

"Celino's" in Glasgow is a cosy, more authentic and humble Italian restaurant. I recommend their wine-tasting and swing nights as something to look out for
