Gallery Center is part of a bigger organisation named Center of Contemporary Art. I have already written about that organisation, but this small exhibition space has autonomy, because it is not in the same space as the others. It's in the city center, very easy to access, and unusually pretty.
They always have creme de la creme artists and artwork, usually from our region, and they change exhibitions on a monthly basis. That means they have a nice dynamic with their visitors. It doesn't take too much time to see the artwork (it's not a big space), but it's surely a spiritual experience.
The openings of the new exhibitions are always on the first few days of the month, and they are accompanied by more visitors and media attention. Guided by this, choose the time of your visit according to your own sensibilities.
What my favorite thing is is that the gallery itself looks like a work of art. The interior is geometrically oriented, having an unusual interior bridge with a large influx of light. It also has an indoor terrace which is unfortunately currently closed to visitors, but they used to have cocktail parties during openings there.
The current exhibition: Soft forms, Darko Vučković.
