Tirsa is a cocktail bar located in “Eixample Esquerra” of Barcelona. One day, walking around the area, a man approached me to ask me for directions, so I helped him out. He told me that he was going to Tirsa, which was a really famous cocktail bar, so I was surprised that even though I was a neighbour I had never heard of it. I added it on my “must-go” list and next week, I decided to give it a try.
The first thing that surprised me was that there was no menu. The barman is the menu. He will advise you on what to have depending on your taste, the moment… With or without alcohol, sweet or sour, fruity or refreshing, long or short... He will guide you and make sure that you enjoy your drink. Probably he will succeed, as he has more than 30 years of experience and you can notice that he is very passionate about his job.
The cocktails are great, but the best thing about this cocktail bar is, no doubt, the professionalism of the barman!
