Poporoya Sushi Bar Milan

BEST SUSHI IN TOWN!

""Poporoya Sushi Bar" Milan is the place for you if you're a true sushi lover. Beware: most people who come to this grocery shop become regulars!"

If you are a real sushi lover this is the place for you! All cities have good sushi, decent sushi, bad all-you-can-eat sushi and amazing sushi. Poporoya falls in the category of amazing sushi! This spot is actually a Japanese grocery store with a few tables inside and outside where you can sit down and eat. The chef is 100% Japanese and personally prepares all the dishes in front of you. Most people that come here become regulars....

The food is amazing and is real authentic Japanese sushi. This is not the place for you if you are looking for creative "fusion style" sushi.  Be prepared to sit at a table with strangers and to have a quick meal and leave because of the long line waiting outside. The cirashi is incredible and the uramaki double is one of my all time favourites!  I personally always start with an order of gyoza, aka Japanese dumpling heaven!

Across the street from the Poporoya grocery store you will notice there is a proper sit-down restaurant also named Poporoya. Don't be fooled, the grocery store is better and worth the wait!!! In case you are lazy or tired, you can also get it delivered via two famous food delivery apps in Milan. You can thank me later...
