San Siro Milan – More than a stadium

The Meazza Stadium is one of the most famous in the world. Meazza is actually its official name, but this wonderful and emblematic structure is colloquially known simply as “San Siro”.

San Siro is in fact the name of the neighborhood, not of the construction proper, but for the Milanese people it doesn’t make any kind of difference. As an architecture lover, I am definitely in love with this building, for the mere reason that it is beautiful. It is also a place where I have had beautiful experiences.

I am definitely not a football lover, so the experiences I am thinking about aren’t those you normally have in a stadium (as for example football games!) but the second category par excellence: concerts!
