When you are travelling, I guess you usually want to buy a souvenir from the places where you have been? What would be a more ideal souvenir to get than Finnish design? We have a lot of fashion made in Finland and many brands from Tampere as well, like Uhana Design. Even our prime minister loves this brand!
In the city centre, right in Hämeenkatu, there is a wonderful, wonderful local fashion shop called Miela, which you just cannot pass while you are in Tampere. It is a quite big shop and downstairs there are brands from Finland. Clothes, accessories, a LOT of accessories. So many earrings that it is impossible to choose which one to get! Also clothes for kids. There are brands like Aarre, Kaiko Clothing, Blaa and one of my favourites, Lumoan. Sustainable Finnish fashion - you will love this shop!
And! On the upstairs, there is a second-hand shop! Yes! It is really high-standard second-hand shop, all the clothes are really nicely placed. You don't have to "dig in", you can see fashionable second-hand clothes and shoes and try them on. Go and check this out!
